Patient Financial Counselor - AUTHORIZATIONS

Under the direction of the Manager, Patient Access, obtains third party payer authorizations, verifies coverage and benefit information. Consistently maintains compliance with department and payer regulations and requirements to ensure the facility optimum reimbursement, and performs related duties as assigned.

Required qualifications:

• 1 year General office experience which includes public interaction.

Preferred qualifications:

• Medical insurance experience.
• Medical setting experience.
