A revenue integrity analyst makes sure every service is charged correctly and compliantly: maintaining the hospital chargemaster (CDM), reviewing charge capture by department, reconciling missed charges, and fixing charge, code and pricing errors before and after billing.
Analysts often come from coding or billing, frequently hold a CPC, CCS or RHIT, and work for hospitals, health systems and consulting firms.
